Oleg Gorboulev was born in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, and received his ballet training from the National Ballet School of Uzbekistan. He danced professionally with Moscow Classical Ballet, in Russia, and toured with the company throughout Asia, Europe, and the US. In 1995, Mr. Gorboulev came to the US to dance with Indianapolis Ballet Theatre, and in 1999 he joined Pacific Northwest Ballet, rising to the rank of Soloist. Mr. Gorboulev was an original member of Los Angeles Ballet, under the direction of Thordal Christiansen and Colleen Neary, and performed lead roles in ballets such as Balanchine's Agon, Apollo, and Serenade, and Bournonville's Napoli. He is also a highly acclaimed dance instructor in the Seattle area.
