The primary goal of Seattle Dance Project is to create exciting new works that reflect the talent of the dancers both individually as independent artists and collectively as an ensemble. Seattle Dance Project gives its artists a real sense of place where they can create a level of artistic accomplishment that would not otherwise be available to them anywhere else in Seattle. Without Seattle Dance Project, the dancers would be forced to seek dance opportunities in other areas outside of Seattle or be required to stop dancing professionally. Through the language of dance, Seattle Dance Project offers innovative performances and educational programs to stimulate dancers, choreographers, students and its primary audience composed of dance lovers.
